If your search results in only 1 office profile, you will be directed to that profile page. Otherwise, you will be taken to the Search Results screen.
Up to 3 other search forms are available. Simply enter your criteria and click "Search". You can mix and match as many criteria as you like. For the best results include as much information as you know about the office. To search by name, enter the first few (minimum 3) characters of the name in the box provided. For larger companies it is best to include the company name as well as the city, state and/or postal code of the office you are trying to locate.
Click Find a specific office so I can write a review to see offices which you are able to review. For instance, if you are broker the search will return only carriers. This form is hidden if you do not have permission to write Customer Reviews.

Click Find potential new business partners to search the DAT Directory for carriers or brokers by geographic area. For instance, all carriers domiciled within 200 miles of Houston, Texas. This form is available to all users. To search by location enter a city and/or state. If you do not enter a radius, DAT Directory will look for an exact match to the city name. To search for offices in multiple states, hold the control key down while selecting the states from the drop down.
DAT Directory will provide up to a maximum of 500 results that fit your criteria.
DAT Directory will provide up to 500 results to any search. If you receive more than 500 results you may want to go back and refine your search parameters.
To get a printed copy of the search results list, click Print Results.
To see the details for a office, click on the entry in the list on the left.
Actions available from the Preview Pane
This tab is only shown if you have a Freightmatching subscription which includes the ability to prefer and block offices
The Preferred tab shows all the offices which you have marked as Preferred. If you mark offices as Preferred those offices are displayed with a yellow heart icon in the DAT Power interface. Plus, DAT Power posts by users in those offices are viewed in the Preferred filter.
Click on the links in the Company column to view the profile for that office. Click on the links in the Docket# column to view that company's profile on the FMCSA's Licensing & Insurance web site. If you have permission to read or write Company Reviews, use the links in the Reviews column to read reviews for the office or to review that office.
To remove offices from your list of Preferred offices, select the checkbox for the corresponding row and then click Remove Selected Offices. To remove all items on the page being viewed, click the checkbox in the header row, which will select all items. Then click Remove Selected Offices.
The Blocked tab shows all the offices which you have marked as Blocked. If you mark offices as Blocked you will not see posts by users in those offices in your DAT Power interface unless you select the Blocked filter.
Click on the links in the Company column to view the profile for that office. Click on the links in the Docket# column to view that company's profile on the FMCSA's Licensing & Insurance web site. If you have permission to read or write Company Reviews, use the links in the Reviews column to read reviews for the office or to review that office.

This page shows all of the information available for this company. Each section includes a header that identifies the source of the information. To jump to a specific section, use the navigation pane on the left.

The Review Summary shows a summary of all the reviews left by other DAT users about this office. It includes the number of reviews, overall star rating and rating breakdown as well as the ratings for each dimension, such as Punctuality for a carrier or Load As Described for a broker.
Click the Reviews tab or Read all reviews to view the full text of all the reviews written about the office. Use the advanced filters to refine what reviews are shown. You can filter by attributes like star rating or one of the review dimensions such as Punctuality. You can also sort the order that the reviews are listed by using the menu.
To view all reviews by a particular reviewer, click on that reviewer's nickname. A new browser tab will open with all reviews and review comments by that user. To visit the profile page for any reviewer's office, click on the link next to the word Company after the review content.
Click Write a review to open the review submission form. The form enables you to add an overall rating (required) as well as ratings for each dimension. You must also include a review summary and a review (minimum 50 characters). The guidelines for writing reviews are:
You must create a nickname when leaving your first review. For privacy reasons, do not use your full name or email address.
All reviews are read and moderated. Please allow up to 72 hours for a submitted review to be published.
This page shows the profile information for your office. It is the page other users will see if they locate your office via a posting in DAT load boards or one of the search forms. See the Company Detail Page section above for information regarding what appears on this page.
To edit your profile, click the Edit My Profile link. This opens a form to submit background information and details on your equipment, services & specialities, high risk freight, operating states/provinces and preferred lanes. Click Save Changes to save and return to the My Company tab.

Customer Reviews are ratings and feedback left by DAT customers about other DAT companies with whom they have worked. Each review must include 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) stars as well as 50 characters describing the interaction which is being reviewed.
If you would like to see review content on an office regardless of whether you are able to review them, first locate the office you would like to review. If you know the Docket#, DOT#, Intrastate# or phone/fax, you can use the Quick Search form in the upper right of the page to quickly locate the appropriate office. To search by name, city/state/postal code or a combination of other information, click on Search Directory at the upper left of the page, then click on I want to find a specific office so I can read reviews.
Carriers can review brokers and shippers. Brokers and shippers can review carriers. Broker-carriers can review brokers, carriers or shippers.
To leave a review, first locate the office you would like to review. If you know the Docket#, DOT#, Intrastate# or phone/fax, you can use the Quick Search form in the upper right of the page to quickly locate the appropriate office. To search by name, city/state/postal code or a combination of other information, click on Search Directory at the upper left of the page, then click on I want to find a specific office so I can write a review. The results of this search will only include offices which you are able to review (for instance, only carriers if you are a broker).
If you do not see this search option, you do not have permission to write reviews. Contact the person at your office who manages the DAT account to ask for this permission.
Once you have located the appropriate office, go to their profile page and click either Write a review or Write the first review in the Review Summary section. A review submission form will open.
Yes. Every review is read by a moderator and must meet our review guidelines. Reviews that do not meet the review guidelines will not be published to DAT Directory. The review guidelines are:
If you submitted a review that does not appear in DAT Directory it was either moderated and rejected or is still awaiting moderation. Please allow up to 72 hours for the moderation process to complete. Please consult the review guidelines (see above) before writing a review to reduce the chances your review will be rejected.
Once moderated and published to DAT Directory, reviews and comments cannot be edited or removed.
Each review features a star rating ranging from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent). The stars shown in the review summary are the overall rating for the office. It is equivalent to the office's average rating (sum of all stars given divided by the number of reviews the office has received).
The Rating Breakdown shows the distribution of reviews at each star level. For instance, how many 5 star reviews the office received, how many 4 star, etc.
A dimension is a criteria by which a carrier or load provider can be evaluated. The dimensions differ depending on whether a carrier or broker/shipper is being reviewed. Reviewers have the option to add a rating of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) on criteria such as punctuality, care of freight, load as described, etc.. In the review summary the office's average rating for each dimension is displayed.
To view all the reviews left on your office, click the My Office tab at the top of the page. Your profile page will display the review summary, including your overall rating, rating breakdown and dimensions. To see the reviews, click "Read all reviews" or the Reviews tab at the top of the page.
To view all your reviews, click on the Manage Reputation or Review Requests tab and then the link "Show all reviews by me". A new browser tab or window will open showing all the content you have contributed.
To reply to a review, locate the review in question and click the "Reply" button after the review. It is recommended you think carefully and read the comment guidelines before replying to any reviews.
Consider contacting the company directly to address any concerns included in the review before adding a reply. Keep in mind that replies can be viewed by all DAT users. If you do decide to leave a reply, take your time and think carefully about what you are going to write. Be specific about the experience you had with the company and avoid making the situation worse. Do not attack the reviewer under any circumstances. Remember that future business partners may be reading your reply, so you want to leave them with a positive impression of your business.
Yes. Under any review, click the link report inappropriate content, enter text to describe the issue and click submit. Reviews that are reported as inappropriate by several users will be moderated again.
To request a review, visit the office's page and click Request a Review from... . Type a message to be sent to the users at that office and click Send. To view all the requests sent by your office, Review Requests or Manage Reputation, then Outbox.
Yes. To view the requests your office received, click Review Requests or Manage Reputation, then Inbox.
Do not review companies you have not worked with. DAT users value authentic feedback about interaction between companies. If you have not worked with a company before, delete the request.
Whether users can read, write or reply to reviews is set by DAT customer support based on the requests made by your company. If you cannot write a review or reply to reviews about your office, please ask the DAT contact in your office for those permissions. Edits to permissions must be made to DAT customer support by authorized users.
To see a list of everyone in your office or company that has left reviews, click on the Review Requests or Manage Reputation tab and then the Reviewers tab located under the page heading. To view the reviews and comments for any user, click on their Nickname. All that user's content will show in a new browser tab or window.
Large companies that have several offices in the DAT Directory can designate users to reply to reviews for any office. If you have such permission, you will see a Manage Reputation tab in the top level navigation. The Reviews tab for these users lists all the offices that have reviews. To view that office's profile page, click on the name of the office. To view all the reviews for that office, click the button labeled See Reviews. To reply to any review, click the Reply link under the review content.
No, once your nickname has been chosen, it is permanent and cannot be changed.
